Man police believe could be connected to Subway murder out on bond

HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged for robbing a subway restaurant in the 4800 block of San Jacinto St. in February.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Jefferey Archangel is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Archangel posted a $30,000 bond on the charge.

Javier Flores, 18, was killed in another Subway robbery that same night.

Houston police have said they believe the men who robbed the Subway on San Jacinto are also responsible for Javier's death.

Archangel has not been charged in that case.

No arrests have been made in the Flores case, police said.
