Man breaks glass door of gas station, robs store at gunpoint, police say

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for the person they say is responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in southwest Houston.

On July 17, around 4:48 a.m., at a Shell gas station at 13114 South Post Oak Road, a man broke the glass front door with a hammer and approached the clerk, police said.

The man concealed his face at the time of the robbery, according to investigators.

The man had a handgun and forced the employee to lie on the ground while he ransacked the front-counter area, police said.

The man is described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 140 to 160 pounds and was wearing all black at the time of the crime, according to police.
