Police say man used fake ID at multiple banks

HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and the District Attorney's Office are searching for a man who they say is using a fake ID to withdraw money from multiple accounts in different banks.

Investigators said the man withdrew money seven times from four different banks.

Three of the locations are in the greater Houston area and one is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

One of the banks is in the 9400 block of North Sam Houston Parkway East in Humble where investigators said the man completed a withdrawal slip, presented a fake ID and withdrew money from the victim's bank account.

Investigators believe that the man stole approximately $60,000.

The man is described as a white or Hispanic male, 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet 0 tall, weighing 150 to 170 pounds.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the man.
