He was arrested in the Memorial area Thursday after he broke into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her while her 7- and 10-year-old children were inside the home, police said.

The judge denied Scott bond because he has four previous felony convictions. Prosecutors said Scott was on federal probation at the time of the rape on a drug-related case.

Police said Scott was armed when he broke into the home and forced the woman to undress, then sexually assaulted her.

"She was able to hand her phone off to her kids and told them in Arabic to call the police," Sgt. Reginald Porter said.

Porter said Houston police responded to the apartment complex, on Bateswood off Memorial Drive. When they arrived, the naked Scott ran towards a school.

"He heard the commotion at the door and ran out the back door without any clothes on," Porter said.

Officials said Scott ran approximately 40 yards and hid under a truck until he was found by police.

Porter said Scott lives in the apartment complex and his children play with the victim's children.

Police said the woman, from Iran, is a single mother who lives in the United States.
