Teen arrested for Montgomery Co. apartment burglary

MONTOGOMERY COUNTY – A teen has been arrested after a burglary at a Montgomery county apartment.

The sheriff's office received a 911 call on Saturday at 11:44 a.m. about a burglary at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Pruitt Road. 

Officials said two men had broken into an apartment by kicking in a door.

When deputies arrived, the two suspects tried to run away.

Traymond Jaqualiyn Porch, 17, was arrested after a brief foot chase. The second suspect was last seen jumping into a car.

Porch is charged with burglary of a habitation. 

Deputies said the items that were stolen from the apartment were found. 

The investigation into the whereabouts of the second suspect is ongoing.
