Harris County deputies said an SUV slammed into the back of a Cadillac, then the Cadillac ran into the car in front of it and sideswiped a fourth vehicle.

According to reports, the SUV flipped on its side and the male driver had to be pulled out of the car by rescue crews.  He was transported by Life Flight to the hospital in critical condition.

The two occupants in the Cadillac--a man and a woman--were also taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Deputies said the two men in the small car that was hit by the Cadillac were treated at the scene and later arrested after deputies found a large amount of marijuana in their car.
