LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas - Local 2 is learning more about a bizarre investigation in Liberty County where a couple says two fake officers raided their home.

The couple says two men with police-style guns and dressed in black uniforms kicked in their door of their home on F.M. 2830 early Sunday morning.

The couple says the men claimed to be with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

The men put pillow cases over the couple's heads and then got away with $6,000 and two guns.

When the couple called the sheriff's department to ask why they were raided, they found out the men were posing as deputies.

The couple's home had been part of a legitimate drug search in the past.
