Suspect wanted for shooting death in north Harris County

HOUSTON - Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff's Office have released a photo of a man wanted in connection for a deadly shooting in north Harris County.

Gilbert Salas, 32, is charged with murder.

On July 7, deputies were called out to the Carter Academy in the 3100 block of Fallbrook Drive.  An employee at the school had discovered a man's body.  The victim was identified as Jorge Gallardo, 20.

According to investigators, Salas shot Gallardo after they argued while drinking at the home of Salas' sister. After the shooting, Salas dumped Gallardo's body  in the parking lot of the school.
