Surveillance photos released of robbery, shooting suspect

HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are hoping newly released surveillance photos will help them find the man wanted for a robbery and shooting at an east Harris County gas station.

On December 16, deputies were called out to a store in the 700 block of Normandy Street. 

Officials said a man with a gun had entered the store. He then pointed the gun at someone's head and demanded money. 

According to police, a customer, who was inside the store, rushed the gunman and was shot.

Officials said the gunshot victim was treated for his injuries and released in good condition.

Police said the suspect got away, but surveillance cameras captured images of him during the robbery.

During the robbery the suspect wore a bandana around his face.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).   Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspect in this case.
