Parent arrested after refusing to leave Spring High School

SPRING - A Spring ISD parent was arrested Friday after refusing to leave Spring High School.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it happened after the district superintendent held a news conference at Spring High regarding Wednesday's fatal stabbing.

The sheriff's office said Steven Johnson was arrested and charged with trespassing after he refused to leave school property despite being asked several times by deputies to do so.

Spring High School Principal Donna Ullrich agreed to proceed with charges, according to the sheriff's office.
