PASADENA, Texas – Investigators with the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Pasadena Police Department and Texas Rangers have made an arrest in a 12-year-old murder case.
Lizbeth Castillo Banda, 34, is charged in the murder of 28-year-old Elisa Viera.

The shooting happened in April 2002 at 2304 Wichita Street at the Shady Village Mobile Home Community in Pasadena.
Banda was wanted for questioning in the original investigation, but authorities say they believe that she fled to Mexico.
Investigators say they recently found out that Banda had been working and living in McAllen. She was arrested Thursday.
