HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A mother is facing child abuse charges for allegedly beating her son and another child with a belt.
Tiffany Danielle Johnson is charged with two counts of injury to a child.

Court records show the 27-year-old hit her son and his friend multiple times to punish them for horseplaying.
The incident happened March 26 at 8701 Gustine Lane in southwest Houston.
Johnson told investigators that her son took the majority of strikes from the belt.
Johnson's bond has been set at $5,000.
