BAYTOWN, Texas - A Baytown man already sitting in jail on burglary charges is accused of sexually assaulting a woman late last year.

On November 17, 2013, Baytown police say a woman was grabbed from behind while walking to a friend's house near Lee Drive and West Narrow. The woman, 33, told police the man covered her mouth and threatened to harm her if she yelled for help.

Police say the man knocked the victim down and dragged her to a grassy area where investigators say he sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled the scene.

In February 2014, police say they received a confirmed database hit that the suspect was Ollie Ford Jr. Detectives say they interviewed Ford while he was in the Harris County Jail on a separate burglary charge. Ford, 43, denied knowing the victim and having any involvement in the sexual assault, detectives say.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office found sufficient evidence to file charges of aggravated sexual assault against Ford.
