HOUSTON - A man has been charged in the death of a missing Cypress woman and now authorities are asking for your help to find him.

Colt Morgan, 28, is charged with murder in the death of Wende Marshall. Deputies say she was last seen with Morgan on October 30 and that Morgan initially told investigators Marshall had left her residence and went to a friend's home after arguing with him.

Morgan left the Harris County area after Marshall's father called deputies and filed a missing person report, according to deputies.

Harris Co. Sheriff's Office says investigators tracked Morgan to central Texas, where they interviewed him about Marshall's disappearance. Investigators returned to Harris County and a search warrant was filed on Marshall's home.

Investigators say they recovered numerous items of evidence that were consistent with a murder taking place in the residence located at 11214 Fleur in northwest Harris County.

Marshall's body has not yet been recovered.

Morgan is not in custody and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Anyone with information about Morgan and/or his location is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS or to submit a tip via the iWatchHarrisCounty phone app.
