Harris County sheriff's deputies said the shooting happened inside Club Le Cave at 4714 West F.M. 1960.

Three other men were transported to area hospitals with gunshot wounds. A fifth man was transported to an area hospital after having suffered injuries from an assault.

According to deputies, several hundreds people were inside the club that night. Investigators said they talked to several witnesses and learned that shortly before the shooting, bouncers, employed by the club, intervened in a fight between two groups of customers.

Investigators said bouncers threw Dorsey and about four other people out of the nightclub for fighting.

Dorsey came back from the parking lot a short time later and fired gunshots at the bouncers, who were standing near the main entrance, detectives said. He left before deputies got there, officials said.

Dorsey is being held on $50,000 bond in the Harris County Jail.
