HOUSTON – A man is in jail after police said he raped a 12-year-old girl who lived in his apartment complex.
Margarito Vasquez, 47, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14.

Court documents show the attack happened on August 22 at the apartments located in the 7200 block of Corporate Drive in southwest Houston.
According to authorities, Vasquez called the girl over by his apartment, grabbed her, pulled her into his unit and sexually assaulted her.
Investigators said the victim was able to identify Vasquez has the attacker in a photo lineup.
Vasquez is being held without bond in the Harris County Jail.
