Harris County – A man in north Harris County is in the hospital after he was shot on his doorstep.
According to Harris County sheriff's deputies, the suspect shot the victim when he answered his door around 9 p.m. Wednesday. Another person living in the home was not injured.

An ambulance took the victim to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Authorities are still searching for a suspect.
