GPS leads deputies to equipment theft suspect

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A GPS device helped deputies track down a theft suspect.

Kornelius Bernard Holmes is charged with felony aggregate theft.

According to court documents, a tracking device led deputies to a stolen backhoe on a property in northeast Harris County.  When deputies arrived at the scene they say they discovered not only the backhoe, but also several stolen trailers and vehicles.

The total amount of stolen property was $125,500.

Holmes has been arrested.  He is expected in court on Friday.
