HOUSTON – The all-clear has been given at two local schools that had been under a lockdown Tuesday morning due to police activity in the area.
According to police, Jersey Village High School and Post Elementary School in northwest Harris County secured their buildings while police say they were searching for a person who is mentally unstable.

Jersey Village police told Local 2 it was a "minor incident" and the schools were secured as a precaution.
The lockdowns were lifted shortly before noon.
No other details were immediately available.
