3 teens arrested for series of burglaries, robberies in west Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – Three teens have been arrested for a series of aggravated robberies and burglaries in west Harris County.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said deputies received a call for service by a realtor who was checking on a vacant residence in the 6000 block of Plantation Crest Drive on Sunday. The realtor saw people in the home and called 911.

The sheriff's office identified the suspects as 19-year-old Brenda Flores, 17-year-old Neiman Gasper and a 14-year-old boy.

Deputies said the three teens had hidden in a stolen SUV in the garage of the residence. Officials said the vehicle was carjacked by the group in the 18000 block of FM 529 earlier that morning.

Authorities said the three suspects also robbed someone at gunpoint in the 17600 block of W. Copper Lakes Drive that same morning.

Deputies recovered several stolen items from the victims, along with numerous baskets of liquor that were stolen from a burglary of a business located at 14000 block of Cypress Rosehill Road.

Investigators believe the three teens may be responsible for other robberies in the area.
