GCSO makes multiple arrests in undercover drug sting

Year-long operation yields big results

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas – The Galveston County Sheriff's Department charged 24 individuals on narcotics-related charges Friday after a year-long undercover operation. Fourteen of them have been arrested.

Authorities say they received complaints from residents in an unincorporated area of Dickinson about drug activity happening at a house on 2812 Avenue B in Dickinson nicknamed "The Yard."

Officials say the investigation led to another home where drugs were being bought 2804 24th Street.

Galveston County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at the residence and arrested Alex Paige.

Paige, 38, was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Authorities say they found 7.7 grams of crack cocaine in his pocket when they arrested him He is being held in the Galveston County Jail on a combined bond of $410,000.

A total of 16 grams of crack cocaine, 28 ecstasy pills and 13.6 grams of marijuana were found at Paige's home according to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office

Dwight Gaines, 21, was also at the house and investigators say they found him in possession of 8.20 grams of crack cocaine and 6.5 grams of ecstasy. Gaines has been charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $40,000.

Brian Lott, Cynthia Jones, Nyberia Nunez and Tyrone Johnson were arrested during Friday's search warrants.

Lott, 35, is charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $60,000.

Jones, 30 is charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Her bond is set at $210,000.

Nunez, 33, is charged with three counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond is $180,000.

Johnson, 45, is charged with four counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $330,000.

Marcziavour Dickerson, Alvin Perry Jones, Henry Junior Nunez, Theodore Clay and Undra Levin Cox were already in custody at the Galveston County Jail.

Dickerson, 44, is charged with two counts of manufacturingand delivery of a controlled substance. He is being held  on $170,000 bond.

Jones, 36, is charged with manufacturing and delivery of crack cocaine. He is being held on $60,000 bond.

Nunez, 48, is charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. He is being held on $60,000 bond.

Clay, 30 is charged with four counts of manufacturing and delivery of crack cocaine. His bond is set at $330,000.

Cox, 47, is charged with manufacturing and delivery of crack cocaine. Her bond is set at $60,000

Shanequia McCall, 33, and Joseph Nunn, 36, are currently being held at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. They are both charged with manufacturing and delivery of crack cocaine and are each being held on $60,000 bond.

Ira Hill, 34, was arrested on an outstanding federal warrant for narcotic trafficking in Florida. Authorities say he was turned over to U.S. marshals.

U.S. marshal's, the narcotics divisions of the Texas City and League City police departments and the UTMB K9 unit assisted with the investigation.
