RICHMOND, Texas – Two Fort Bend County families have filed a lawsuit against their children's former teacher, they're alleging serious accusations of physical and mental abuse.
Julie Gosch is the special education teacher named in the suit. She had worked at Juan Seguin Elementary in Richmond until she resigned and was ultimately let go amid the allegations.

"She was putting Emily into a filing cabinet drawer and then closing it, " said Flor Nelson, her 10 year old daughter was in Gosch's class. Nelson and another family, the Sapons, are the ones who are suing.
What's upsetting to both sets of parents is their daughters have autism and can't communicate. They said they weren't able to tell them what was allegedly happening.
The parents told KPRC Local 2 it wasn't brought to their attention until two teacher's aides sent emails to the school administrators telling them about the abuse.
Local 2 obtained copies of the alleged emails, in them, the teacher's aides claim Gosch called the kids in class "retarded" and "losers," among other things.
"She told me she was pulling my daughter's hair," said Juana Sapron, her nine year old daughter Genesis was in the same class. She isn't able to talk about the allegations without crying.
"We don't want this teacher to teach at any other school. We don't want this to happen to other kids," she said.
Local 2 went by Gosch's Missouri City home, someone was inside but they wouldn't answer the door.
Fort Bend ISD issued a statement saying; "Student safety is one of our highest priorities in Fort Bend ISD. When allegations involving one of our employees were reported on Jan. 27, 2012, the District took prompt remedial action to remove the teacher from the campus and began an immediate investigation. The teacher's last day at work in Fort Bend ISD was Jan. 27. She resigned and is no longer employed by the District. The results of the Fort Bend ISD Police investigation were referred to the Fort Bend County District Attorney on February 17, 2012."
Although the alleged incidents were reported back in January, the lawsuit was just filed last week in Fort Bend County.
The attorney representing the families said the girls who endured this abuse have been acting out since.
"I hope these two girls are able to get the help that they need and that these two girls progress instead of regress," said Clint McGuire.
Both the Nelsons and the Saprons have removed their daughters from the school.
