Men wanted in home burglary caught on tape in Richmond area

Four suspects got away with jewelry and a handgun

RICHMOND, Texas – Authorities are seeking four men wanted in a home burglary caught on tape in the Richmond area.

On July 22, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a home in the 22200 block of Winter Sky Lane in the Riverpark West subdivision in the Richmond area. After reviewing surveillance video from area homes, deputies say the driver of the suspects' vehicle drove by the home several times.

The video shows the vehicle stopped curbside and the driver walked to the front door and appeared to ring the doorbell. The vehicle left and passed by the home once more before pulling into the driveway.

When the suspects pulled into the driveway, deputies say three men jumped out of the vehicle and ran to the side of the home and into the back yard. They gained entry by breaking a glass door. While they were inside, the vehicle pulled back and left the area only to return about 20 minutes later, pulling into the driveway.

According to deputies, the driver appeared to be a white male with tattoos on his left arm. The vehicle is a white, 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, possibly a GT model.

The video time stamp showed the burglary was committed between 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Monday.

Deputies say the three suspects who entered the home appeared to be black males, one wearing a black shirt and blue jeans; another with a blue shirt; and a third, who had all black clothes on and had a hood over his head.

The suspects got away with jewelry and one handgun, according to investigators.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
