Man wanted in corner store robbery

FORT BEND COUNTY – A robbery suspect is still on the loose and authorities are asking for your help to find him.

Officials said around 11:35 p.m. Thursday June 13, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the Valero Corner Store in the 14100 block of Bissonnet Street.

According to police, the store clerk said at about 11:10 p.m., a black man walked into the store, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The suspect climbed over the counter, took the cash and left the store.

Officials said the suspect entered from the west side of the store off of Sugar Land Howell Road. He was wearing a navy blue or black colored hoodie with the hood pulled up. He had on tan or khaki-colored pants, white shoes and a mask pulled over his face covering his mouth and nose. He also was carrying a backpack or satchel with the strap over his right shoulder.

Police said the suspect was described by two witnesses to be between 5-feet, 7-inches and 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a slim build.

The Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is offering up a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of this aggravated robbery suspect.
