Deputies need help identifying person of interest in cell phone store robbery

Investigators say they found customer with hands bound

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Detectives are asking for help identifying a person of interest in a cell phone store robbery in Fort Bend County.

The robbery happened at the RB Cellular store on Highway 6 South and West Bellfort Avenue between 5 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

When deputies arrived at the store, investigators said they found a customer with his hands bound. An employee of the business was found to have sustained minor injuries, detectives said.

There is currently no word on how much money or how many cell phones two men stole from the store.

According to investigators, the first suspect is described as a black man, approximately 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs about 150 to 160 pounds and has a light color ponytail.

Deputies said the man has a tear drop tattoo under one eye and wore a light green or yellow construction vest over a plaid shirt and dark color jeans during the robbery.

The second suspect is described by investigators as a black man approximately 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighs about 160 to 170 pounds. Investigators said he wore dark color clothing, including a pullover mask with eyes cut out in it and a dark color hoodie.

The man was carrying a black backpack containing a black semi automatic pistol, detectives said.

Investigators stressed the man caught on camera behind the business during the time of the robbery is a person of interest. He is a black man who was wearing a dark color T-shirt, denim shorts and sneakers.
