4 people killed, another injured in single-engine plane crash north of Victoria, reports say; NTSB investigating

YOAKUM, Texas – Four people were killed and a person was injured Tuesday in a single-engine plane crash in Yoakum, KSAT News reports.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating the deadly crash of the Piper PA-46-350P, also known as a Piper Malibu aircraft.

The Harvest Church identified the victims in Facebook post as Bill Garner, Steve Tucker, Tyler Patterson and Tyler Springer, whom were all members. The injured passenger was also identified and listed in stable condition in a Texas hospital, according to the post.

The Yoakum Municipal Airport is within a mile of where the plane crashed, according to media reports.

Yoakum is located in Lavaca and DeWitt counties, about 45 minutes north of Victoria.
