Trio wanted for assaulting clerk who confronted them for stealing at east downtown convenience store, HPD says

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public’s help with finding two women and a man accused of robbing a convenience store last month.

On Sept. 18, officers responded to reports of a robbery at a store located in the 2300 block of Pease Street around 2:15 p.m.

Officers said a store clerk was working in the cooler area of the store when he spotted the male suspect take several items from a shelf and place them into his pocket. When the clerk approached the man and told him he needed to pay for the items, officers said the man pushed the clerk back and walked out of the store without paying.

As the suspects were getting into a white Toyota Camry, one of the female passengers pointed a gun at the clerk before speeding away.
