Police are asking for help finding a woman wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a cyclist dead. (HPD)

PASADENA, Texas – Police are asking for help finding a woman wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a cyclist dead.

The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on July 30 in the 800 block of Preston Avenue in the Pasadena area, according to police.

Authorities said the victim was riding southbound in the area when a woman driving a white, four-door SUV hit the victim and fled the scene. The victim was severely injured and was transported to a hospital, where they later died, authorities said.

Police released images of the woman that show her wearing a red top, shorts and red shoes. In the images, she is also wearing blue medical gloves. She is seen driving a white SUV, believed to be the vehicle involved in the fatal accident.
