Man accused of breaking into business, stealing vehicle arrested

HOUSTON – A man accused of breaking into a business Monday and stealing a vehicle has been arrested.

The theft was reported in the 100 block of North Sam Houston Parkway East.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the stolen vehicle was being tracked by the owner and deputies were able to locate the vehicle and stop it. Deputies said the suspect, identified as William Scott, was arrested.

Deputies said the owner of the vehicle said Scott broke into his place of business and caused damage to a gate before stealing the company vehicle.

Scott has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was being held at the Harris County Jail without bond, deputies said.
