A 1-year-old girl in Houston overdosed on pills and died on Saturday, according to authorities.
The child was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at the 6000 block of Longhorn Lane.
Parents are cooperating with authorities and the death is being called an accident, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
