Kingwood HS reopens after flood repairs

KINGWOOD, Texas – Monday marked a fresh start for students and teachers at Kingwood High School.

They returned to a renovated campus after Hurricane Harvey damaged the building.

Nearly 6 feet of water flooded the school last year.

During the repairs, students attended class 30 minutes away at Summer Creek High School.

Now, students can enjoy their new gym, lockers and computers, along with many additional upgrades around the campus.
