KPRC 2 first reported about the Kellogg's closures in February.
The layoffs stem from the company's decision to stop direct store delivery of its U.S. snacks business in favor of a warehouse model.
"While this is the right move for the company to achieve our long-term objectives, it was a difficult decision because of its impact on employees," company spokesperson Kris Charles said.
