Judge: "Dr. Phil" interview must be released in flesh-chewing case

TV show intended to air interview, but backed out

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – A judge ruled Friday that the “Dr. Phil Show” interview with Austin Harrouff must be released by early next week.

Horrouff is the teenager accused of killing John Stevens and Michelle Mishcon in their Martin County garage last August, and chewing off their flesh.

Investigators say Harrouff also attacked a good Samaritan who tried to stop the killings. The good Samartian survived.

WPEC reported Dr. Phil McGraw intended to air the interview featuring the teen, but backed out.

The judge ruled that the interview has to be released by Tuesday.

Toxicology results show that Harrouff did not have any synthetic drugs in his system the night of the attack.

He did test positive for small traces of THC in marijuana, and ethanol or alcohol, according to investigators.
