Inability to find partner to have baby with could be considered disability, according to WHO

HOUSTON – The World Health Organization recently released new standards defining infertility.

Currently, WHO's definition of infertility, which is classified as a disability, is the failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sex.

The new global standards suggest that the "inability to find a suitable sexual partner or the lack of sexual relationships could be considered an equal disability."
