Hundreds line up for video game release

Call of Duty: Black Ops II released at midnight

HOUSTON - Hundreds lined up for the midnight release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the newest edition of the popular video game series.

"I had to take off work today to wait in line," Michael Oqui'nn said. "And tomorrow I'm gonna be taking off too just to play the game."

Oqui'nn was the first of hundreds waiting outside a Game Stop on Highway 249.

"I showed up around 2 p.m.," Oqui'nn said.

In the parking lot is two gigantic screens for gamers to preview and play the new video game.

"It's gonna be a fun night though," Austin King, 17, said. "I'm skipping school tomorrow for this, so hopefully it's worth it."

"I've been waiting for this for months," fellow gamer Ryan Gephardt said. "It's advanced warfare. They have drones and new futuristic planes."

Retail price for the game is $59.99.
