HOUSTON – A Houston Police Department officer was hospitalized Monday night after being involved in a crash in southeast Houston, police said.
The crash happened at 9:04 p.m. near Cullen Boulevard and Pederson Road.

Police said the officer was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital with minor injuries.
It is unknown what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
