HPD: Man steals 18 weapons from gun store

HOUSTON – Police need help identifying and finding a man who stole more than a dozen weapons from a north Houston gun store.

Houston police said a man drove a stolen vehicle into the back of a gun shop in the 6200 block of North Shepherd about 3:30 a.m. on June 19.

The man broke into several locked cases and took about 18 weapons, investigators said.

The man was described as black, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 to 190 pounds with short, curly/wavy black hair.

The stolen vehicle was later found abandoned in the 7400 block of Knox Street.
