HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for three men who stormed an IHOP in north Houston Tuesday morning and investigators say it's possible the robbery is connected with four others in the Houston area.

According to police, three men wearing hoodies ran into the restaurant on Greens Road near I-45 around 2 a.m. They bypassed the customers and went straight for the cash registers.

"No customers were robbed, only the store was robbed," said Lt. Larry Crowson, with the Houston Police Department. "They fled to a waiting maroon Toyota Tacoma where another male was in there, and they then fled north on 45."

"I would be terrified, especially if I was with my kids," said Customer Natasha Alvarez Hill. "I would be hiding under the table, praying!"

On Tuesday, Harris County Sheriff's Office released surveillance video of one of the incidents on Aug. 5. In the video you can see one of the gunman knock an employee to the ground, while the other gunman scour the store for cash, walking around with guns.
