HOUSTON - The all-clear was given Tuesday afternoon after the Houston police bomb squad responded to a report of a suspicious package at the Mickey Leland federal building in downtown Houston.

Houston police say a small suspicious package was spotted Tuesday morning on top of a vehicle in the parking garage at the Mickey Leland federal building at 1919 Smith Street.

HPD says the package turned out to be a personal object that someone had left there. There was no threat and the all-clear was given.

The building was not evacuated.
