HOUSTON – A body found in the HOV lane of I-45 south near I-610 south loop caused the HOV lane to shutdown Friday morning.
The medical examiner was called to the scene just before 5 a.m.. Police are investigating how the person died and how the body got in the road.

The commuter lane was reopened just before 6:30 a.m.
