Houstonians gather to highlight impact of proposed health care bill

HOUSTON – U.S. Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee, D-Houston, and several concerned Houstonians gathered for a "Don't Touch Our Healthcare" rally Monday.

Organizers said the protest was to highlight the impact of the Senate's proposed health care bill.

Jackson Lee said representatives will listen if their constituents speak.

Jackson Lee said more than 2.5 million Texans are at risk for losing their health coverage under the proposed bill.
