HOUSTON – Eight people were in custody Tuesday in connection with a bank robbery in Cinco Ranch and a subsequent chase that ended in west Houston, according to police.

The robbery was reported about 1 p.m. at the First Community Credit Union near the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard.

According to Fort Bend County deputies, four armed people wearing hoodies held up the bank and then fled in a black pickup.

The chase ended near an apartment building in the 1200 block of North Post Oak Road in west Houston, where the four occupants jumped out of the vehicle. They said one of the people was hit by the vehicle, which was still moving, and another person was also taken into custody.
