Homeowner robbed, assaulted in SW Houston

HOUSTON - Police say a homeowner was assaulted and robbed in southwest Houston.

It happened after a party at the home on Braeswood around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Houston police said after everyone had left the house, three suspects showed up and broke a front window. Once inside the home, the suspects assaulted the homeowner, and took his wallet and other property.

Police said the homeowner was treated at the scene for a cut to his head.

Authorities found some of the stolen items in a nearby back alley.

The suspects were gone before police arrived.
