Homeowner beaten, tied up during NE Harris County home invasion

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying several men who forced their way into a house in northeast Harris County June 3.

Around 4:30 a.m., several men broke into a home in the 4400 block of Darwin Street and tied up a 29-year-old man.

The men demanded money, guns and valuables, according to investigators.

The men ransacked the home and then fled.

The homeowner was severely beaten. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Surveillance video captured the men involved in the home invasion.

Anyone with information about the people in the video or the incident are asked to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Division at 713-274-9210.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the men in this case.
