Help find suspects responsible for sexually assaulting young girl

Crime Stoppers released sketches of the two suspects

HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers and Houston police investigators are hoping newly released sketches will help them identify the two suspects responsible for sexually assaulting a juvenile.

It happened back on April 1, 2013 in the 4300 block of Boone Road in west Houston.

Police said a young female was walking home from school when two men driving a four-door, white pickup truck, pulled up to her.

Officials said the passenger grabbed the girl and forced her into the back of the truck, which may have been a Dodge Dakota.

Then, police said the passenger sexually assaulted the girl while the driver drove around the area.

Authorities said the girl was eventually let out of the truck near the intersection of Wilcrest and Beechnut.

Local 2 showed parents the sketches as they picked up their children at a nearby elementary school.

"I'm really scared for all teens -- any young kids that walk," said one woman who lives in the area. "They are unsafe. They they can't even walk to and from school."

"Yes, it helps us to gather more information," said Raul Ramirez who lives nearby. "Parents will still be worried for their kids. You want these people to be locked up."

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitting an online tip, texting TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637) or sending a tip via the Houston Crime Stoppers app.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspects in this case.

All tipsters remain anonymous.
