HPD: Man used woman's debit card at Walgreens

HOUSTON - Police are hoping newly released surveillance will help them find the man wanted for withdrawing money from a victim's bank account at an ATM in southwest Houston.

Officials say the a 38-year-old woman from the Dallas/Fort Worth area noticed unauthorized transactions being made with her debit card at a Walgreens at 8535 South Braeswood on the afternoon of March 2. After seeing the activity, the woman contacted the Houston Police Department and quickly filed a report.  

An officer in HPD's Investigative First Responder Division obtained surveillance video from the Walgreens showing the man at an ATM, swiping what appears to be a card with the woman's account information on it.  

Police say after obtaining more than $300, the man purchased multiple gift cards at the cash register.

Houston police describe the suspect as a black man, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, and 150 to 190 pounds. He had a mustache, beard, and long dreadlocks
