HOUSTON – A helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing on US 99 near FM 1314 on Thursday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The incident had all eastbound main lanes temporarily shut down on the Grand Parkway.

The helicopter was seen on the shoulder of the toll road.
There were no injuries reported, and it is not known the reason for the emergency landing at this time.
