Heartwarming video shows moment Pasadena High School homecoming queen named

PASADENA, Texas – A social media post by Pasadena Independent School District is going viral showing the heartwarming moment a woman with special needs was crowned homecoming queen.

Pasadena High School announced that Sammy Gonzalez and Cristina Cano are the new homecoming king and queen. 

The video starts off with Sammy waiting to hear who will be crowned queen. He glances back at Cristina, who is wearing a blue gown.

Cristina waits, covering her eyes and mouth as the anticipation grows for the announcement.

When her name is called, she leaps forward, giving Sammy a hug. The video ends with her being crowned, given flowers and posing for pictures.
