HCSO: Girl, 13, takes family's car, headed out of state

HOUSTON - Deputies are trying to find a 13-year-old girl who ran away from home and is believed to be headed out of state.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said Elizabeth Annette Robinson was last seen at her home in the 17100 block of Ledgefield in Cypress about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators said Elizabeth took her family's car, a brown 2011 Nissan Versa with Texas license plate No. DB2B924.

Elizabeth is believed to be en route to Hodgenville, Ken. to meet a 12-year-old boy she met online while playing Xbox games, officials said.

Elizabeth is white, 5 feet 3 inches tall and 190 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Elizabeth's whereabouts is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office's Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427.
