HCSO: Brothers shot during July 4th BBQ

HOUSTON - Deputies said an argument lead to a deadly shooting in northwest Harris County.

The violent night started during a Fourth of July BBQ on Redcliff Drive.

Harris County investigators said a man walked over to a home across the street and opened fire on two men.

Ana Garcia said the two men shot are her brothers, Tony and Ricardo Garcia.

"All of the sudden he pulled out a gun. My brother is standing right there and shot him in the throat and as soon as he did that, my other brother ran that way and he started chasing him, shooting him and kept shooting-- let out the whole clip," Garcia said.

Garcia said the shooter had issues with the men in the past, and he was in a drunken rage when he opened fire late Thursday night.

Deputies said after the shooting, the suspect walked back to his home a few yards away and took his own life.

The victims are at the hospital in comas this morning.
